Well, that was....easy. Really easy. Suspiciously easy. Like, I seriously expect to go back in two weeks to find the property abandoned because the whole thing was a scam to take my enrollment fee and run off to Rio easy. You people had me expecting to have to present my birth certificate and three letters of recommendation from various heads of state and the ashes of an honored samurai warrior and to have to fill out like a 20-page application where they quizzed me about everything from the maiden name of my great-grand-second cousin eight-times-removed to my ninth grade locker combination! All I had to do was cough up some money, lay my fingers on a scanner, and answer no to a few questions asking whether Id committed various kinds of felonies recently. First of all, Im glad theyre only inquiring about THIS life, because I did do a little moonshine-running during prohibition that Im pretty sure would have qualified as transporting a federally controlled substance. Second, have you ever been declared mentally incompetent or been involuntarily admitted to a mental health facility? WHEW, thank the gods my wonderful wonderful mother never had her schizotypal DIDed gender-dysphoric aspie son clinically diagnosed. Anyway. Shit got done, yo. Now I wait.
