Well that was fun! After spending a big chunk of my day editing final mixes for The Venom Cure I got a call a couple hours ago asking if I could track some guitar parts for a hip hop track. The only constraint: it had to be completed tonight. I never heard the song before, but it turns out this was one of the easiest sessions I have ever tracked. The cool thing about this type of music is that it is so heavily edited, which removes all the pressure from me to nail a perfect take. I basically just downloaded the song files, tracked out a ton of samples, uploaded them, and left it for someone else to do all the editing in their studio. Easy-peasy.
