Well, the ALS challenge was sent to me by Keith Nelson. I accepted and also took this opportunity to educate myself and my Womens college soccer team about the disease by reading some facts about ALS. In addition, my girls and I are donating $100 to ALS. I am not challenging anyone with a ice bath but challenging each of you to learn one fact about not only ALS but also about breast cancer, autism, colon cancer and even attention deficit disorder. There is ignorance about many issues that effect a large part of our population and if each of us learned a little bit we would be a much better place.
