Well the fall apple harvest has started! We started picking Gala apples this week and here are a couple of shots from the orchard yesterday. The first shot is the picked bins of apples being gathered in a central loading area waiting to be taken to our packinghouse in Waverly. The second shot is showing how we line the empty bins in the rows so the pickers can fill them from the bags they carry as they move through the trees. We will have Galas just like these in the market for sale Friday!
