Well..things didnt quite go as planned today and i was unable to have chemo after all. Since they think there might still be underlying infection in my left abdomen they thouvht it would cause the infection to take off siince chemo knocks my immune system. Down. I ended up getting 2 blood transfusions today instead to get my bemoglobin up to a safer level..tomorrow i go ba k and they use an ultrsound to guide a needle and tube into my abdomen to drain and. Culture the fluid..if all goes well i will go back on monday to finally have chemo..on a good note, i just got home and my fever is gone! I think the transfusions were successful!
