Well this is post is neither about Santa-Banta joke nor about any celebrity or about my photo, partying somewhere seeking your lovely comments & likes. So if you were expecting that you can skip this post :) ... well this post is about something what we pretend to care but in-fact dont care, our motherland India. I have grown up in India & was taught that we should be proud of our country, culture & history. Our history is 1000 years of slavery to invaders, after that 67 years of slavery to corrupt politician, corrupt system, sprawling poverty, missing morality, rampant rapes, poor law & order, riots. May be 1000 years of slavery has made us indifferent, we never question anything. We keep saying, it is all due to corrupt leaders, dirty politics, and then we sit quietly. We slam the system but we never try to fix it and have learnt to live with it. As Plato has said One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors. We Indians feel very comfortable in not participating in politics, that produced the corrupt leaders like Lalu, Mulayam, Maya, Kalmadi, Pawar, Gadkari just to name a few. Most of these leaders have learnt one thing from Britishers, divide & rule. We have been silent victim of atrocities carried out by these leaders. We keep selecting them as we dont have any viable option. In 2001, when I watched the movie Nayak and saw Anil Kapur leading the common man & becoming a good CM, my friends & I felt charged up. We discussed, can we ever get such a strong & honest leader like in this movie. Since then 12 years have passed & now I find that strong leadership in Arvind Kejriwal. A man with intellectual horsepower (IIT Alumnus), an administrator (ex-IRS officer), a social servant (spent 12 years fighting for poor & RTI), internationally recognized (Magsaysay award, 2006), a master planner (IAC andolan). A leader with a indomitable spirit & audacious goal, Winning Delhi For a Common Man. Unlike movie, the path is tough, honesty is being tested, sincerity is being questioned, false allegations are being made, frivolous CDs have been circulated. And suddenly few people start doubting him. But still do you think, has he done anything in the past that deserve Delhis vote ? if yes, please support him otherwise be prepared to be ruled by the same miscreants who have been looting our motherland & dividing the nation.
