Well today Im actually ashamed to be Australian. We all know - TopicsExpress

Well today Im actually ashamed to be Australian. We all know about the kid that racially abused the train security guard in Brisbane thats gone viral. What that kid did was disgusting and hes going to be found and charged, BUT the reaction of the public is whats ashamed me just as much. It seems that every scumbag in Australia has come out from under their rocks on this one and the comments and keyboard threats and the lynch mob mentality is almost as bad as the racial abuse the kid gave out. The kid deserved to be outed and he deserves to be punished as does his mate that filmed it and put it on the Internet in the first place, but we are lowering ourselves to their level with the stupid carry on that its caused. Out him and let the cops deal with him (hopefully). How the hell do Hate pages and bounty pages do anything but prove what a totally screwed up society we are? Its a disgrace. Instead of learning from this the kid will probably kill himself because right now it seems the entire nation is walking around with pitch forks ready to hunt him down and kill him. Its wrong. Totally wrong. We look like a nation of filthy scumbags right now...maybe we are? And one last thing, the use of the word c**t. Call me old fashioned but I am sick and tired of people throwing this word around like its nothing. How low do we want to take ourselves? Why cant we control ourselves? How did we get to the point of thinking that word is just acceptable to throw around? I dont care if people think Im a nerd or whatever but as far as Im concerned the use of that word just shows youre an unintelligent half wit that is one of the reasons society is sinking to the depths of hell. Im no angel when it comes to swearing on FB or in general but I wont lower myself to use that word. People need to grow the hell up and have some self control. Think Im done with FB for a while. The worlds gone mad.
