Well today has been one of those yo yo days. On the one hand I was quite honoured to be asked to sing for the arrival Donald Trump at Shannon today. On the other, as every singer knows, singing outside, in the freezing cold, against the noise of wind and airplanes taking off and landing, with no amplification whatsoever isnt an ideal representation of the standard I have worked so long and hard to achieve. Again on the one hand, sure isnt publicity great?! But on the other, when the above is recorded on an iPhone and published all over social media and ridiculed to death, again, its not ideal! Anyway, instead of sharing the Trump cringeworthy Irish reception video, I am VERY happy to post Affinitís new music video - which although not strictly classical, is at least recorded properly while none of us were freezing or competing with aircraft engines!!!
