Well today is Kirsten Callaghans last match as club secretary of our beloved football club, and Ive been lucky (or unlucky) enough to be part of the rollercoaster ride she and I will never forget. Its been over seven years of unbelievable highs, and a fair share of devastating lows. Weve seen 4 A*rshire derbies, 5 wins in a row at Tynecastle, one relegation battle, one play off battle, beat Rangers home and away in the same season, beat Celtic at Parkhead for the first time in 57 years, ruined a certain Keanos big debut, the pre season trip to Devon and Northern Ireland among others and of course the pinnacle of the league cup win. Its fair to say Its been a good innings. We have met some great people and some not so great, the latter of which will be devastated to hear of her departure nobody said ever. One thing I wont miss is the hours that she has devoted the club. Not many people can handle 15 hour shifts Monday to Saturday (I couldnt be arsed with one day of it), but she did and I dont think she will realise how incredibly proud I am of her efforts. Though her time comes to an end at the football club one thing that wont change is our support, youll still see us there (probably hear me first) loving and hating the football team at the same time because she might have changed her job, but she will never stop loving her football club.
