Well today was an interesting one. Two flat tires on two cars in one day. First one just as I got on the main road and I limped it to the garage about 1/2 a mile away- tire shot but the rim is OK. I was going to meet Gregg for lunch so he came and got me to go home and get another car. Got ready to get in the Subaru ( I had a 3 :00 meeting to go to) and guess what another tire going flat... So I took Greggs car and came to town. Meanwhile the garage called, there was a sheet metal screw in the tire but it was beyond salvaging. Gregg pumped up the Subaru tire headed to town to Thompson Tire since I am heading to Charlottesville in the morning. The tire on the Subaru had another sheet metal screw... I had made a trip on Wed and this morning in the two separate cars to our recycling center at Pump Hollow. Guess where I got them? Not a happy camper. reminder to myself- go to the one on Slate Spring Branch next time.... Oh well, home and packed for Charlottesville and ready for my 8:00 conference call. Night all!
