Well, today was dads last day at abbott labs. dont know whether to say yay or to cry. he has been working since 1969. i think that is something like 44 years. he always was a loyal and dedicaed worker no matter where he was. he hardly ever complained aabout having to get up and go to work. he just did it. i believe he spent more awake hours at work than he did at home. he is a real role model for all the family with his work ethic. he deserves a little rest and time for himself he hopes to get a volunteer job at the golf course. supposedly if he volunteers he can golf for $3.00 at any city golf course. i hope they call him back. its going to be alot of adjusting for him at his separation from working at abbott and looking forward to his actually retiring in a year. love you, momma
