Well, we are finished.... You may have thought that the Spring Fling For Lolita would have wrapped up shortly after the closing bell, but there was much back of the scenes work to be done. Everything is finished... with the exceptions of three items yet to be shipped, which these funds will be sent to Orca Network when they get completed. As a result of all the wonderful donors to this event, the hard work of all the volunteers to co-ordinate this, and most importantly to the participants that made this event and auction possible, the total that will be donated to Orca Network for Lolitas benefit is.... $22,477.00. This is such a wonderful thing you all did for Lolita, and for the first auction of its type, this is an amazing gesture of support and desire to see her reunited with her family. I think that this is history-in-the-making for Lolita, and when your children are grown, and they have children of their own, you will be able to tell them your stories of being resisitance fighters for the freedom of this prisoner, and for of all of them, so that our world, their world, could be a much better place for the generations to come. Well done everyone, very well done.
