Well, we are in Brigus today..arrived last night. Spent four nights camping near Twillingate..now 3 nights in this unbelieveable B&B, the Brittoner right in the middle of the most quaint, lovely, beauiful villiage we have seen so far. Its like a scene in a movie. Pond in the back. Little cafe next door..Town Hall a few steps away. Last night attended an hour long classical musical strings concert. World class musicians. We keep pinching ourselves for finding this out of the way beautiful spot. Peter is taking lots of pictures. The day before..went to Fogo Island...took a 45 miute ferry and spent about 2 hours just visiting the small fishing villages...oh wow wow wow. And, finally saw a lone caribou in the middle of the road. The longest legs and hooves I have ever seen. Grabbed the camera and managed to take a couple of good shots. Today.....to Mobile to take a boat out for puffin and whale watching. Then onto St. John....the big city of NFL to tour, especially the small Irish pubs and restaurants on Water and George Streets. Hope to hear both traditional NFL music and of course, traditional Irish music. TOO MUCH FUN. Monday a.m we leaqve here and then., three more camp sites, and will catch the ferry on the 18th and drive back on the 19th. I could live like this, a combo of tenting and B&Bs ,for the entire summer and then retirement....!
