Well, we got 9 new pullet hens today. They are very pretty, different birds. Unfortunately, they have decided to fly up into the pear tree to roost. Now, we worry that the dogs will have a feathery breakfast. We are going to get up before dawn tomorrow and try to coax them back down in the fence. Hopefully, they will not exit the tree on the outside of the pen. I hope we do not wake up to carnage in the morning.
