Well we made it to another Christmas. And just like Thanksgiving, this holiday feels no different. For me holiday time means huge amounts of family, talking, laughing and eating. It means being together. My house is quiet, I still have yet to get the perfect cup of coffee going, and yes while the house is clean it is lacking the noise that I crave so much. I am single by choice and will most likely continue that trend for years to come. But this is when being single sucks big time. I am so thankful for a son who while he is still sleeping is still in the home with me. I am missing my oldest son like crazy and so glad that he does have a huge family that surrounds him in his new home, town and married life. But that doest mean that I wish he wasnt here because with all of my heart I wish that he was. Then my little broken family would be complete. Ohana, means family and no one left behind. Merry Christmas to everyone, and peace for the new year.
