Well, well.....what will Minnesota do next? The state high school athletics commission has overwhelmingly approved a new policy for transgender athletes wherein boys who self identify as girls and girls who think of themselves as boys can compete on and against the teams of their own choosing...in other words, a confused young man who identifies as a girl can now play on a girls team even if he is the spitting image of Shaquille ONeal, six foot nine and weighs three hundred pounds. If I was a coach, I would be foaming at the mouth waiting for one of these athletes to come along and be on my team. I can also see the lawsuits coming when some 130 pound girl who thinks she is a man gets laid out in a cross body block by an opposing football player who will do it simply because it is a target of opportunity.....yeah, this is going to be a barrel of laughs to watch as it plays out. Girls have played on Little League teams and Youth football teams for a long time with success, and there are a couple of female kickers on college football teams, but those are not hard contact sports, and some kids are going to get hurt.....
