Well... went out to the pictures with some friends this weekend. Here are my reviews. Today we saw that little picture called Gravity. We saw it in IMAX 3D. I have to say, I did like it very much. Although, I have no idea why they called it that. Theres no gravity in that entire movie. More appropriately I retitled it Sh**t Storm. I sort of dragged my feet because of the casting of Sandra Bullock, but I think she did a very good job with it. The other picture we went to see was Captain Phillips you know the one - the updated remake of Wagon Train. Actually, both films were very well crafted and both took you deep inside the events they portayed. I was especially impressed by the raw humanity of people in Captain Phillips. The style (like United 93) gives you a sense you are watching a documentary. Impressively, the director Paul Greengrass made you care for everyone involved. From the sailors, to the captain, including the Somali pirates.
