Well, were back in the thick of life right now.... A quick update for family and friends...... First, for the last couple of weeks we have noticed somewhat of a decline in Nell as far as forgetting words, slurring and basic motor skills. We have had blood work done, as well as had a Doctor come to the house and examine her and do a UA. Well by last week, it had gotten to the point she needed me to lift her every time she needed to transfer from A to B. Friday, She wasnt even able to hold her body weight and we slowly eased her down onto the floor.... Time for Hospital. After several tests over the weekend, we have found growths both in her brain as well as chest. A biopsy will be done today or tomorrow and we are hoping it is not cancer returned but we fear it may be. Second, Mom D, went to a normal Doctor appointment last week and fainted/passed out in the office! I guess if she had to do it, timing is everything. She was rushed via EMS to the ER and quickly admitted. They observed her heart, implanted a monitor chip in her chest and kept her until Thursday. Then Nell went in Friday. Keep these Ladies in your thoughts as well as the Doctors put in place to help. Ill update as we know more.
