Well, what a day! I have a beautifully talented, green quaker parrot, aka, Sunshine He is quite a talker and yes he sings, too! He escaped, this morning. Escaped from his cage, into the great outdoors, around 9:00 am. :( I went on to church this morning. I figured, he would be long gone by the time I returned. When I got in, I thought, what will it hurt to go outside to try to talk to him. So, I did. I cant imagine what the neighbors were thinking...LOL! I started singing to him, lo and behold, he began to sing back to me! I then, spotted him across the street, in the woods. Sitting there in the top of old pine tree. He gets excited when I sing. So, I held my arms up, waving my hands, continued to sing and calling him. Good thing no one was around...lol! All of the sudden there he was, flying towards me. He lands on a cable wire above my head, I could not reach him. There he was perched, looking at me. Moving back and forth, he sounded like he was screaming at me, talking louder than I have ever heard him....lol. I finally got close enough to touch him. He takes off flying again. He finally lands, again. But this time, I caught him! He is home again, safe and sound! #LOL #whatweretheoddsofthisevent??? #returning #hiscapture #afterfourhoursoffreedom I am happy! :) His freedom, didnt take my Sunshine, away!
