Well...where to start? It was a brutal Oxfam 100k course, after all the heavy rains Sydney endured, most of the track was either a waterfall or a quagmire. Soooo proud of my team members, Doug Mick and the amazing river crossing ninja Ceilidh Armer! She was my hero, often having to haul her mother up over cliffs and boulders with endless cheerfulness and inner strength while her father heaved from behind!! Ceilidh made it through the course without the use of poles...an outstanding accomplishment in itself. The Hosers completed the challenge in 38hrs 36mins, average speed 2.6k per hour. Many, many thanks to our supporters and all those who so generously donated to this worthy cause.
