Well yesterday i did something really stupid. While on Grasshopper Island, I went swimming and left my iPhone 5 in my pocket. I didnt realize it for a good 15 minutes and was horrified when I did. When we got back to my mother-in-laws house I put my phone in a bag of rice and let it sit in there for 24 hours. I wasnt expecting a miracle but I was hoping. My iPhone is dead, dead dead. Doesnt turn on and makes a weird static sound when I plug it in. As I see it now I have a few options in front of me. 1) Emily and I believe we still have her old iPhone 4. I am not currently up for upgrade, but will be in mid October. I could use her iPhone 4 for a few months and then upgrade when October comes. 2) Go to Verizon and see what they can do. I only see two outcomes here, buying a refurbished phone or them letting me upgrade early. The thing is that if Im going to use my upgrade shouldnt I wait for the newest iPhone? 3) Go on Craigs List and see if I can find an iphone 5 for a good price. Im no really for this option because I dont have a lot of money to play with. 4) Go to the Apple Store. I dont think they would do much for me here but honestly Im not sure about that either. I think they would want to sell me a refurbished one as well or try to fix mine which could become pricey. So if youve tried to contact me in the last day or so, this is why I havent responded. P.S. - Brandin Cooks was beast at the Saints Scrimmage today.
