Welp looks like Im back to ranting. I always preach about not shaming someone because of their size, as everyone knows, but this experiment is bullshit because its based on a lie. Like as soon as she was like, This is me, my brain was like, But... its not you, this isnt you at all. Your profile pic isnt this woman. And it almost feels insulting, because there are women out there who are afraid of people reacting the way these men react who actually are the size of this woman and theyre going to zero in on what these men say and take it bad and be even more afraid to try and put themselves out there. But the reality is that these men were lied to and quite frankly it sounds like THATS what theyre pissed about. Also why do we even have to do experiments like this? Like, Hey did you know people have low opinions of fat people? Well... yes, everyone knows that, but to be like, No really, look, because these men thought they were getting a skinny woman but are APPALLED at the fat woman they get. Like... thanks... for beating the dead horse on what people think of fat women? But actually since your whole experiment is based on deceiving your audience its kinda a load of crap but thanks for furthering the stereotype of fat girls cant be loved. (also thanks for the, Hey look women were way more accepting of the fat guy follow up when anyone paying attention can see how uncomfortable they were with their nervous laughter and hesitation, but whatever, youre going to make it look like women are more accepting when there are plenty of fat men who worry over what people will think of them, though again, since this whole thing is based on a flat out lie because the profile pictures dont match up, who can really blame anyone for being pissed off over being lied to?) huffingtonpost/2014/09/25/woman-fat-suit-tinder-date_n_5881330.html
