Welsh Region Statement: PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THE UNIVERSITY OR ST. JOHNS AMBULANCE DIRECT WITH ANY QUERIES. WE HAVE HAD A NUMBER OF THESE QUERIES OVER THE LAST FEW DAYS WHICH IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. There are no outside seats allowed in to the venue at any time. There are over 1000 seats available for our use both in the stand and at floor level around 3 sides of the arena. The University is a non-smoking venue which includes E-Cigs. They are not allowed to be used anywhere inside the University building. Anyone seen using them will be asked to leave the venue. The venue will be open between 8 and 9am for bands to book in to the competition and collect pre-ordered wrist bands, programmes, raffles etc. There will be no entry for the public until 9am. The road march will be taking place on the OUTSIDE running track adjacent to the main building of the University. The displays will then take place INSIDE the NIAC sports arena. ACCOMMODATION - There is a hall available to ANY bands interested in staying for the weekend in Treforest (approx 15 mins to venue.) Anyone interested please inbox Amy Landrygan ASAP. This is due to bands dropping out of halls as recent as this week, any bands dropping out of halls and/or the competition will be faced with all costs such as hall, programmes, raffles etc. Any further questions please speak to your band / league officials who have now received their information packs for the World Championships.
