Wender Santos, aspiring 400m hurdles and 400m runner from Dominican Republic, not long ago started training with his older brother, the Olympic and World medallist in the 400m Luguelin Santos. Their coach Jose Rubio sees a lot of potential in Wender. I see more potential in him now than what I saw in Luguelin, when I first met him. Our original target for Wender is Rio 2016, but don’t be surprised if you see a quicker progress, coach Rubio said. However, Luguelin isnt intimidated by having Wender among his main rivals in a few years. No matter what, I will beat him, Luguelin smiled.
