Wendy Welch gave me 8, so here goes: 1. I have a terrible hate of being left out or missing out on something, hence this list. 2. When I was young, my family raised show pigeons, and I have no idea why we even started. But I did have an entry in the Ft. Worth Stock Show that won Jr. Grand Champion (maybe 1979-80?) 3. For most of my life I could not just hold a banana and eat it...I would have to tear a piece off and then pop it into my mouth. I have NO idea why. 4. I peel my celery (devein it). Thats the only way I know how to prepare it...the way my mom taught me. So I HATE all the stings from celery that get caught between your teeth. 5. I still had a baby tooth up until 7th or 8th grade when we discovered that the mature tooth had impacted in the roof if my mouth and had never grown in. I had major oral surgery and apparently my orthodontist was a pioneer in the technique to repair the situation. The procedure made it into textbooks. Or so Im told. 6. I am petrified of down escalators which is why I always hesitate before stepping on. 7. I have only been in love once in my life, a very long time ago with the totally WRONG man. Im still a hopeful romantic though. 8. My biggest fear is of living the rest of my life alone and forgotten. Especially of being that way and being unable to care for myself...and having no one who could or would care for me. So that lightbulb went off a couple of years ago and I finally started taking care of myself. Long ways to go still, but I am committed to squaring off the curve.
