Wendy had some excitement during the night. She just felt out of it, and had double vision. The nurse checked her pupils, which were reactive, but not equal. A STAT MRI was ordered, the staff called in at midnight to do the exam. Then there was a concern that her epidural catheter might not be compatible with the MRI. Order was changed to a CT. Found out around 1:30 that it was normal. After this, Wendy began to have a new back pain, pretty severe. Took a long time to get that under control. This am at 7, her surgeon came in and within 5 mins had her chest tube and epidural catheters removed. These are big steps to going home! Thank you, Lord, for watching over us!
