Went downtown to see the artists and watch the bidding on the windmills. Saw some familiar faces. One library patron told she has gotten hooked on Facebook. Talked to Mayor Handshoe about Trunk Treasures and selling some Sesquicentennial items. Talked to Amanda Blackman about the same thing. She gave me some good ideas. Talked to the photographer from Glo magazine and to Diane Peachy about saving the Strand. Met a neighbor of the Blackmans--Jessica Biddle who recognized my name from Facebook. She knows my nephew Jayme so my last name sounded familiar. Got a root beer float at Pizza Forum and came home to check on the ball games. The Cubs won their last home game and I think Purdue was badly beaten by Wisconsin and Notre Dame is trying to beat Michigan State. Need to finish some dishes, fix some supper and work on the pile of papers on the end table. Have a good evening and Sunday.
