Went out on my porch tonite around 1;30 AM nice and cool so started to set up hammock thinking early morning I would rest out there in the morning air. All if a sudden an ungodly growling came out of the nearby wooded area such as I have never heard. I stood still and as I tried to see out i heard the loud growling half bark and then fear took over and I shut the light out and closed my door. I woke Frank who was not interested in investigating but I opened the window into the porch to get some if that good Adirondack air into the cabin. I muted the TV bug heard nothing further so back to bed. End of story. If anyone in my area has seen a bear or other wild life, please oatmeal. Thx
