Went shopping for more varieties of food for Bug. Took me longer than when I shop for jeans lol. I havent seen him eating the grain free food, he doesnt eat that when I put it in front of him. He only licks the gravy of this other non grain free so so food. Its low phosphorus, kinda low carbs 9%. Sooo last night his blood sugar was almost 400 and I gave him 1/2 unit of Lantus at 1 AM. Wake up at 7 and hes already LOW on the meter, didnt even register a number. So I get the food with the gravy. He licks 2 bowls of it, then throws up all over the bathroom. Not good, because then his blood sugar isnt going to rise. Gave him Karo syrup and got him back up to 90 before leaving for work. Have to find a happy medium with the food. I try to avoid high phosphorus, high carbs, soy, grains, liver, beef and fish, but if he isnt going to eat it, it doesnt matter :-/
