Went to Urgent Care with the kiddo. Did not like the care received; however, she has a severe sore throat -- not the flu or strep! Thank goodness!! They gave her some liquid steroid to drink to reduce the inflammation in her throat and some Motrin for the pain. We also got a script for most of what I already have over the counter. She has been fever free since about 9:00, and now that her throat is not as inflammed, she has gotten some soup and crackers into her. She is looking like herself again and not so pitifully sick! She is also getting her voice back, so no more sign language and staring! Thank goodness shes on the mend!!
