Went to a temp agency to see about a welding position today. The lady was so impressed on how well dressed, mannered and spoken I was all the way down to me calling her earlier in the day to confirm the interview. Those things alone made her believe in my and try even harder to put in a good word for me to get position. Even after I told her about my background she didnt look at me in a negative way because of how I presented myself. Have people lost the art of selling their selves or were they never taught? She was a white woman probably in her mid 30s, but I dont believe it was a race thing cause Im sure she deals with and sees all kinds of people.
