Went to the German Customs office this morning to pick up some John Knowles Fingerstyle Quarterly magazines and CDs that I had ordered from the USA. The guy behind the counter said (in German), Are you English or American. I said I am American. He said, I know your name, you are a pretty well known musician around here, arent you? I guess it is the result of all those newspaper articles by people like Nina Krüsmann, Heike Eisenmenger and some of the other arts journalists. I am much obliged, thank you to the kind reportage.
