Went to the doctor yesterday. We left at 11:15 AM and got back at 7:15 PM. I was wore out and sore, but I did it!! Mom and Troy were there to help me. The doctor took the splint off my right foot, took the stitches out, and took X-rays. You can see the pics. I have 2 plates and 7 screws in my left pelvis and 1 plate and 9 screws in my right ankle. You can see how bad the bone is broken in the X-ray of my ankle. The doctor said it will be a year before I get back to walking good. He also said everything is healing as it should be. I can transfer to my wheelchair and just about anywhere I want to go now. PT has given me exercises to do so my muscles stay as strong as possible.
