Went to there Foresters club yesterday morning , we spent all day putting culvert pipes in back of our building where a stream runs through, so we could open the field for parking for our monthly steak dinners and other functions. We had a spot where we could cross for parking but there was a problem, Now its open all the way across 60 feet. Also putting a concrete pad under the canopy at the BBQ pit, Getting rid of the old barrel rills and putting in a permanent cinderblock one with stainless steel grate so we set forms for that and a pad for a generator under the deck in the rear (concrete is coming this week). we also removed a huge tree and cut it up, Everything was volunteer and we have members with equipment ..Low bed to haul pipe, Dumps to haul gravel and remove debris, backhoe, excavator, tamper, etc. After that we went inside to do another project at the bar, food, AC, and had to empty a few longneck bottles because we thought the expiration date might run out, Hahahaha! A special thanks to Glenn Roy sr for the use of equipment, there were about 8 of us and got this all done in one day, now just waiting for concrete.
