Were 2 days away from production on Love For Passion - Film! Its easy to get lost in all the details that consume a producer in pre-production from fundraising to locations to insurance to crew to permits. I am so grateful that I also get to have the experience of being the writer/director of this film because I get to always come back to the reason why I wrote this film in the first place when I talk to cast, crew, potential donors, etc. I just finished a call with my lead Miles who plays the father Darryl. I wrote this film from the belief that forgiveness is for you. Over the years, I discovered that my story about my estrangement and issues with my father were not uncommon, which is unfortunate. Thankfully, I was able to get to a place of forgiveness and release a lot of blockage in my spirit. I hope Love for Passion can open up that path for others. Details aside, that is the goal and that is what this story is about - learning the power of forgiveness and healing relationships between fathers and sons. Thank you so much to my team for all of their hard work and getting us to this point. As we move forward through production, I pray that in the midst of all of the details we can remember to stay focused on the reason were doing this in the first place. Lets GO!
