Were checking in with this post to clear up some confusion. Weve been getting a bunch of messages and email.....so we figured wed try to get you caught up. It seems that some HHN fans are reacting to news posted on a website that HHN Orlando has added a 9th house for this weekend. That reporting is not accurate. The test experience that is in technical rehearsal is far from a public house. Heres what you need to know in a nutshell. There is no 9th house! There is a recently added interactive experience that is part of the test of The Legendary Truth cell phone app that was recently released. This experience is not something that you can walk up to and enter as you would the other 8 houses. This is not related to #HHNCOMPOUND in any way. This test run is intended to see how this cell phone based technology will work when (or if) it is part of #HHN25. How does it work? First you need to have an iPhone or Android phone that is compatible with the app for The Legendary Truth. Download: “Tactical Evaluation of Spectrum Terrors” at the iTunes App Store or “T.E.S.T.” at Google Play. iOS https://itunes.apple/us/app/tactical-evaluation-spectrum/id927444833?ls=1&mt=8 Android https://play.google/store/apps/details?id=com.nbcuni.hhn24 Some important notes: 1. You can only participate in the park. 2. Bluetooth must be enabled. 3. Screen must be on. 4. Background app refresh must be on. 5. Follow the app directions to the T You should be able to follow the app to complete a task. If you are successful YOU MAY be able to take part in an interactive experience related to Legendary Truth that involves going into a new area in a building (near Macys) that serves as LT headquarters. The experience will most likely only make sense to you if you have followed The Legendary Truth when it was active during prior years. Whats being said? 1. The interactive experience is fun if you are able to participate. 2. There are compatibility problems with the app. 3. The app drains battery power quickly. 4. The technology registers for some and not others...so winning or being included in the interactive portion may be hit or miss since this is a test run. 5. No real info is available on the Legendary Truth Facebook page or website....you are basically on your own after you download the app. 6. Lots of criticism that this game has resulted in an elitist/exclusionary group at HHN. (Well see how things go if this even makes it out of beta testing and into next years event!) SO....... Have fun if you want to try it! Dont be too disappointed if there are technical issues if you do try! Let us know if you make it to the interactive experience!!
