West Virginia Dance Company will begin tour soon! Four public performances in the near future are WVU TECH on October 2, 2014 at 7:30 pm in Montgomery, McDowell County at Mt. View High School at 2:00 pm in Welch, in Summers County on Saturday, November 1, 2014 in Summers County at Summers County High School and in Beckley on November 15, 2014 at 7:30 pm at Woodrow Wilson Auditorium. The first three performances are sponsored by the NATIONAL COAL HERITAGE AUTHORITY AREA. The dancers are from North Carolina, Ohio, Canada, Wisconsin and West Virginia. The choreography feature will be Fire in the Hole & an American Masterpiece by internationally known choreography Doug Varone Five Chapters from a Broken Novel. The other works on the program are equally exciting works by Donald Laney, Dane Toney, Carli Mareneck and Toneta Akers-Toler. You will be more than pleased with yourself for attending this I promise.
