Weve been here in Quartzite for almost a week now and have found it to be exactly the opposite of where we were last. It is just like a deserted town except people live here! We havent found any real houses yet.It looks like everyone that lives here is just passing through. We spent New Years morning walking through the Quartzite Cemetery. It was so solemn and peaceful and so different than anything at home. There is NO grass or greenery of any kind. It looks like a movie set from an old western. People use rocks and minerals like we would use plants and shrubs.It was like another planet. Were witnessing things unfold now as the day goes on waiting for the town to explode with over a million characters of all walks.We cant wait,well fit right in!!!
