Weve got 12 day remaining in the An Honest Thief film campaign on Indiegogo. I know that almost 2 thousand people have visited the campaign page. Weve interested enough people to pull this off. However, weve still got less than 200 donors.... I think our perk language is a bit confusing. When you read the perks, read them carefully, I dont know if people necessarily understand the language these campaign pages sometimes use with regard to perks. Perks are designed to provide an incentive to give. Therefore, please read the description under the perk that you would like to contribute towards carefully. If it states that you will receive that item plus all of the previous, non-limited perks, then you are getting that particular item plus many extra cool perks with that one contribution -- you are also getting all previous, non-limited perks. You may walk away with more merchandise that you originally thought. For example, were you to contribute to the perk Wired Smash and Grab, its 40 dollars and you get the bag of Detroit Bold Coffee, An Honest Thief coffee mug, and then all previous, non-limited perks -- which includes an autographed quality 8 by 10 inch movie photo (either from Tom Sizemore in HEAT , Danny Trejo in MACHETE ,Sally Kellerman as,the original Hotlips in the film MASH or David Proval in Mean Streets), a DVD or BluRay edition of the film once it is commercially available, and a digital download of the film once it is commercially available! That is all for 40 dollars! Were you to try to get at a convention just an autographed photo of the kind we are offering with this perk, it alone often costs 40 dollars -- and that does not include the price to get into the convention. That is a lot of merchandise for 40 dollars! Were you to buy the bag of coffee online, it costs 7 dollars plus tax. DVDs and BluRays of new films are often 20-25 dollars. Digital downloads are usually about 10 dollars. A nice coffee mug will often cost roughly 5 dollars. You are getting all of these things for 40 dollars. Plus, you are helping us make the film An Honest Thief! Please read each of the perks in this manner. We are trying to give as much as we can with each perk and still be able to produce a quality motion picture in Detroit. Twelve days is still plenty of time to pull this off. We just need more of the public to get behind us. I thank all of you who have helped with this campaign in any manner. It has been a long campaign. I appreciate everyone who has stuck with us.
