Timon of Athens The Committee intends to recruit a skilled director to rehearse a production of Timon of Athens, as part of the International Shakespeare Festival between 11th-17th May 2015. A further week of performances may be negotiated. The venue is intended to be the Ballroom of the De Grey Rooms at the York Theatre Royal. There is a Director’s fee of £1,500 and you are expected to rehearse on two evenings a week, and one weekend afternoon for a period of at least 8 weeks. The director must be available in York whenever required throughout the rehearsal period, and the fee includes all travel and subsistence expenses. Applications should be submitted by Sunday 7th December to [email protected] and should include a C.V, and on one side of A4 your vision for the play. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to interview in York in the week commencing 15th December. Any queries may also be directed to this address.
