Weve know this for decades. Dr. Lendon Smith, a pediatrician who wrote Feed Your Kids Right and other books back in the 70s and 80s talked about cows raised on their mothers milk and cows raised on their mothers pasteurized milk. Those on the pasteurized version got sick within two weeks and some even died. How sick is it that we allow cows to be fed all vegetarian diets instead of their natural diet of grasses and then damage the milk they produce because they mass produce it in cramped quarters? Cows cannot digest corn and soy. They have four chambered stomachs for a reason; to digest grass. Our children were raised on raw goat milk because we found a farm that sold it. Goat milk is easier for infants and children to digest because its fat and protein molecules are smaller. Even if you have a problem with cows milk, you may be able to tolerate it if it is raw milk rather than what is conventionally sold in stores. Raw milk dairy products from organically raised pasture-fed cows rank among some of the healthiest foods you can consume. It’s far superior in terms of health benefits compared to pasteurized milk, and if statistics are any indication, it’s safer, too. While many believe that milk must be pasteurized before it can be safely consumed, it’s worth remembering that raw milk was consumed for eons before the invention of pasteurization. It’s also important to realize that pasteurization is only really required for certain kinds of milk; specifically that from cows raised in crowded and unsanitary conditions, which is what you find in confined animal feeding operations (CAFOs). It really needs to be pasture-raised, NOT pasteurized. Organically raised cows that are allowed to roam free on pasture where they can graze for their natural food source produce very different milk. Their living conditions promote and maintain their health and optimize their milk in terms of the nutrients and beneficial bacteria it contains. from Mercola Read more here: articles.mercola/sites/articles/archive/2014/10/21/wisconsin-illinois-raw-milk-fight.aspx?e_cid=20141021Z1_DNL_art_1&utm_source=dnl&utm_medium=email&utm_content=art1&utm_campaign=20141021Z1&et_cid=DM58385&et_rid=700534414
