Weve spent all our lives being told our vote mattered, and nae matter what way we voted our voice was never heard !!!. As a young man i was told hold your views, bide your time, and now the time has come. I have seen the way my country has been run by successive Labour and Conservative governments, how industry was stripped from us and good hard working men and women were forced to move, retrain and jump through the hoops of government to get the basic amounts of money offered by the welfare system to survive. I have been there in the 80s and 90s, working as many hours a week as a full pay colleague for a pittance that cannot sustain me or my family because the traditional jobs and sources of income were gone or on the slide. On Thursday 18th i say YES, to a Scotland that has control of its own affairs, for good or bad. For a Scotland that has control of its own future, rather than looking several hundred miles south for a handout or permission to allow a law. If you disagree, fine, i understand the uncertainties and hazy future ahead of our country, but i; and i am sure the rest of the YES voters in this country are people who wish and will this country to become all it can be, Not just a forgotten region of a county that is more concerned with Profit before People.
