With Yoruba becoming the fastest growing religion in the U.S. (according to national media), it is so important to guide our people, who have been broken by our separation from the traditions of our ancestors, back into the traditions of our origins; traditions that contributed to us being a once great and mighty people! We encourage you to join the Olori Temple for our Second Monthly service dedicated to our Heavenly Mothers IyaNla (Mother in White) and her disciples, the all powerful Iyami (the all powerful mothers). Our sermon will focus on myths/tales of their power and their relevance to our daily lives. We will shed light on the importance of appeasing the Aje (the mothers who destroy when angry) and how appeasing them regularly will bring peace to our personal lives and communities and also control the negativity among us. During this service you will learn the songs to sing along and dance to the drum beats of the Ancestors and the Mothers. Breakfast will be provided at 11 am and service will start at 11:30, 1215 E. 20th Ave, Tampa.
