We’re looking forward to another great Shoebox year! We’re thrilled to let you know that the eighth annual Shoebox of Love Drive is open! Hurry on over to operationshoebox.co.za to pledge a Shoebox of Love for an orphaned or vulnerable child or pensioner today. Things to remember during the 2014 drive: 1. Swapping drop-offs is not possible this year. Please check our list of drop-offs before you register to make sure there is one that is close and convenient for you. 2. Please consider your time and budgetary constraints before pledging. As many as 10% of pledged boxes do not arrive each year. Rather than pledging ten, pledge one, and make sure it gets to us. We’re often left to scramble around at the closing date to try and fill gaps in our lists – sometimes as many as 400 or 500 shoeboxes – and often for our teens! 3. Please check and double-check your email address. A full stop out of place will mean your confirmation email and labels will not reach you and the child or pensioner you have chosen will not receive a gift this year. 4. Please check out the updated list of contents and how to pack a Shoebox of Love. 5. We’ve updated our list of Frequently Asked Questions. 6. Shoeboxes of Love need to reach our drop-offs by latest 31 October 2014. Please plan accordingly. If you miss the deadline it means someone is not getting a gift this year. 7. Need more information?
