Whakaako: Learning with each other Drama NZ Conference 24th – 27th April 2014 Call for presenters for Drama NZ Conference 24th – 27th April 2014 Drama New Zealand’s National Conference 2014 will be held at Rangi Ruru High School, Christchurch from Thursday 24 April until Sunday 27th April. This year’s conference is run in conjunction with TRCC: Teachers’ Refresher Course Committee. The conference will provide three days of high quality workshops and presentations for primary, secondary and tertiary teacher-practitioners as well as tertiary members and community drama educators. Our 2014 conference themes are • art forms and genres that we work with • drama for learning across the curriculum • bicultural and cross cultural inclusiveness We are now looking for written Workshop and Paper Presentation Proposals linked to the above themes to be forwarded to Christine Morgan, Conference Committee Chair by email to christinemdrama@yahoo by Friday September 20th. Due to the change in structure for 2014 we are unable to offer discounted fees to presenters but TRCC do offer the advantage of paying for travel to the first 80 people to register and pay in FULL for the conference. (See the TRCC website for details.) We recommend registering early to qualify for this and to qualify for the early bird registration as fares cannot be held for presenters.
