What Did Jesus Say? I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored; others have labored, and you have entered into their labors.” (John 4:38) Life is an interlocking network of dependencies that build on themselves and provide for everyone an opportunity to pick up where others have left off. In other words, you get a head start because you are standing as it were on the shoulders of those who have gone before. We have benefited from untold persons who have preceded us. Time would not permit us to list all of those who have contributed to what we have achieved. The truth, however, is that we have received from them great benefit. We inherit what others have sown as others reap the results of our growth. How have you benefited as a result of the efforts of others? How have others benefited from your efforts?
