The image of a tender heart between Microsoft and Linux appearing on the same stage where the Microsoft CEO was delivering his keynote may have looked like a scene from a science fiction movie. Similarly, it seems unreal that Microsoft will open source all of its .NET server stack and make it available on Linux and Mac, as the company announced today.
