What To Do While Waiting For Answer To Prayers Matthew 6:7 13, James 1:5 Between the time that you said amen in prayer and the time of manifestation there are a lot of things that happen. The devil confuses so many people to think that God has failed or that He is too slow to deliver an answer to prayer. Once you have prayed over a matter, take your mind off it. Its not God that brings your mind to it again, it is the devil. Every time that your mind turns to that problem thank God about it. Stop treating God as if He is not alive. Every time you pray again and again over a matter, it means that you are assuming that God is deaf or not alive. Get yourself busy in the work and activity of God for you. You should be involved in divine things that put your mind from your need to ministering to others and you will soon discover that your situation is met with Gods solution. You must recognize the fact that not every case is designed for prayers. There are 3 areas of life where men need knowledge. 1. Cases that will respond to prayers and the power of God. 2. Cases that will respond to wisdom through counseling and pastoral involvement. Understand that the wisdom of God to a situation is actually the gateway to the answer you are looking for. 3. Areas that are the sovereign choices of God in the life of people. For example God chose Apostle Paul to be a celibate; this is not his own choice but Gods sovereign choice. You must take advantage of the provision of God for you in counseling and ask questions. God has made adequate provision for our journey on the earth, so when you pray and it appears the matter is dragging, it is time to seek counsel from a person carrying an anointing. We must take advantage of that as continuous prayers can lead to discouragement. There are times that it is peoples prejudice that deprived them of seeing Gods solution to their matter. May you be wise enough to take advantage of all these practical things so as not to fall for the deception of the devil around your prayer. Father, I receive grace to put my mind on you while you work out the details of my answers in life. I embrace every advantage you have packaged into my today and destiny at large. Thank you for your divine involvement in my life in Jesus name. Amen. By Rev. Olusola Areogun
