What a FANTASTIC day within the Upper Bann Constituency!! PORTADOWN was a hive of activity with over 40,000 people in the town for CountryComes ToTown. Well done to all the organisers who pulled out ALL stops to make it a success!! Great to see and speak to so many people. Hard to beat a wee but of the country life on a Saturday afternoon. Also a big well done to Julie Flaherty & her husband Wayne who hosted their annual coffee morning in Portadown. This coffee morning is a very special event in memory of Julie and Waynes wee son Jake who was born with Congenital Heart disorder. I have known the family for a long time and remain committed to working with the Health Minister Edwin Poots who attended this morning also on this matter and ensuring the right services are provided for those families who are affected by this illness. A SUPER day out for all who attended!!
