What a blessed Thanksgiving weekend my family and I have had. Gladys, my Wife, and I provided a large box of food to Several Veterans. It gave each needy Veteran enough food it was enough to feed an Army in their home. I Started at 6: 30 am thanksgiving morning over SKYPE and helped our son, Tim, cook his first Turkey Dinner. A lady called and said do I know how to send 500 Christmas cards to our troops. Remember when President Obama sent the 173rd Airborne Sky Soldiers to help in the Balkans. They are now back in Italy. I made 1 phone call and We will have them ( Christmas Cards) there by the 25th Christmas Day. 5 people gave us donations for one of our Charities we founded 10 years ago, Soldiers of Today and Yesterday, to help with the food baskets. We are going to receive 125, 2015 Christmas Calenders from our School in India where we support the poorest of the poorest children. We will charge $5 per calender which we will give all of the proceeds to the school there. Gladys and I have also decided to give Christmas boxes to needy Veterans. Instead of turkeys it will be Ham and all the Fixings. As you read this you can see how blessed our life is. Only through God could have allowed all this to happen. Oh one last thing this weekend I have had the opportunity to be in touch with several of my high school friends. First time in 54 years that I have had contact with any of them. We made arrangements to go to my School Reunion for the first time ever. We all graduated from Ramey Air force Base in Puerto Rico. So as you can see why I say, We are blessed. Thanks and I know it is not December yet so dont keep Christ out of Christmas. Gosh we have such great friends. Thanks and God Bless.
